Where Are My Keys?

Printer-Friendly Format

After three months of taking care of newborn twins and a 2-year-old, I was pretty insane. One Saturday I planned for a much needed break to attend a friend's baby shower.

As I was frantically getting ready, nursing a baby, reading to a toddler, and shouting instructions to my husband, I realized I couldn't find my car keys. It was getting late so I took the spare set, ran out the door, and planned to look for them when I got home.

When the mom-to-be opened her gift, guess what was in the package? That's right, I had wrapped my keys! I had to tell her the car didn't come with the baby gift!
